Favourite Chuckle Bro?

Top Question! #AskBeef  "Who's Your Favourite Chuckle Brother?"

I ALWAYS reply " How can you possibly choose between two legends?" They are a TEAM and there is no Me or I in team, they are a Duo, a unit, working together as one. My team mates at WCW say Barry and Paul remind them of myself and Jarda, a DYNAMIC duo, working harmoniously together! I pass him a spanner, and it goes like "from me to you, to me, to you, to me, to you....and so on, we roll about hilariously........apparently the Bros were massive in the Czech Republic and Ceska TV is still showing re-runs of Chuckle Vision series 3

A MASSIVE BELL
You can probably name a few.......I can think of several...one lives in Cornwall, but my all time hands down favourite has got to be this one....

This really is the Chuckle Bros at their best!

Brush Heads (WFP)

Many of my fellow WFPers #AskBeef "Whats the best BrushHead to use Beef?"  I have to say its really down to preference, and the job in question. My little aide-memoir is "More dirt = More Bristles"
Heres a few of my favourites:
FaceLift Phoenix Lightweight (Above)
Packed full of Bristles and Redness this Monofilament Beauty ticks all the boxes.
Vikan Flagged Hi-Lo (Above) Great for really dirty stuff, cladding and sills.

Unger nLite Looks great in Green dosn't it? Next to RED, GREEN is my favourite colour.

Gardiner Brush. Worn with a certain nonchalance, don't you think?

Sunny days spotted

hi beef need help with a pole system question. on hot sunny day especially the windows in direct sunlight there drying in with like a white powdery residue streaks. the water is pure any ideas on whats causing it ? cheers.

Beef: Excellent question, to a definite problem. Direct sunlight heats the glass and causes water to evaporate quickly, thus drying on the glass. Any residues trapped in the water that have been picked up off the glass or in the air will then try onto the glass, causing the residue streaks.

Even though your water is pure, it's not when it touches the glass. Pollen, more prevalent in hot weather is a prime culprit.
A solution can be to use hot water, which evaporates slower !

Correy

Morning Blog fans! The keen eyed amongst you who are sad enough to watch corrie would have spotted the window cleaner Tim Metcalf with one of Window Cleaning Warehouse buckets and one of our legendary microfibre cloths! Watch next weeks episode to see him giving it large with a Phoenix Pole!

Top product placement, BTW Corrie has a long history of window cleaners, which would probably be my specialist subject on Mastermind..."and now we have Beef, specialist subject, History of Window Cleaners on Coronation Street"

Todays top tip: Theres a bit of cold weather on the way, put Isopropynol in your tank, stops it freezing! Also use it on internal cleaning kits, like dragonfly or Cleano pads, cuts through grime and leaves windows sparkling!

Laters Gators!

#AskBeef: Before you ask, no it's not me, this impostor, also called Beef, with a penchant for dropping his pants (unlike me) is the main man (like me) in the hilarious new BBC show featuring Vic and Bob "House of Fools". Apologies to my followers across the pond, you wont have a clue what I'm on about, but then you wouldn't "get" the humour anyway!
Let's face it, when we sent The Office over to you guys, you ruined it, and thought it was real Ha!
Then I suppose you gave us Friends (my all time favourite show) and Larry David, so we'll call it quits.
Anyway I just wanted to clear up the confusion, I am Beef main man at Window Cleaning Warehouse, not Beef main man in House of Fools, although WCW are sometimes described as a bunch of idiots.

Question of the day: "Whats new Beef?"
Several things, firstly my underpants are new on today, colour pink. In the window cleaning world the latest thing to hit the streets is without doubt Aqua-Tap!

Exclusive to WCW this water saving device fits onto any WFP with a German thread, above or below the angle neck. With just a quarter turn of the pole you can turn water on or off. With a slight turn, you have complete control of your water flow. Its lightweight at just 85g (3oz U.S.), durable, ceramic valve, quick fitting, no tools needed and priced at just £29.95 will pay for itself almost from day 1!

Another new line of products for 2014 is the range of Pro-Gutter tools. They are designed to fit different shaped Gutters and all fit onto a standard Acme thread found on most extension poles. You can purchase individually or in a handy box of all 4 tools. Ogee, Square, Half Round and Small Half Round.
You can check them out on Facebook or http://progutter.co.uk/ But if you would like to know that your order is being handled and shipped same day by my trusty staff then purchase at http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/

A man mountain like me needs to keep his strength up , so I'm off to slurp down a can of soup, not just any old soup BIG soup! Angus Flavour (Flavor).

See you later.

Blue Monday?

Whats all this about Blue Monday, apparently a couple of years ago someone took a poll of tweets and found there were loads of moaners on the 3rd monday in January, not here! @Window Cleaning Warehouse we're all smiles! I couldn't wait to get back to work, as far as I'm concerned Blue Monday is is that mega long dance track commencing with a distinctive semiquaver drum intro, probably programmed into an Oberheim DMX Drum machine by New Order!
Ping! Ker-ching! another new order for our terrific Renegade pole offer coming in on the web!
Along with New Order, do not forget the Legendary Bronski Beat.....sorry getting distracted.

Anyway Saturday was quiet, spent the morning in the office, feet up, boning up on Willie Erkens latest Wagtail tools, like to keep upto speed, and Wagtail are the fastest tools out there and we're expecting a delivery of Jetstream this week...

If you got time, I've got plenty, check out the AquaTap, shuts of your water flow with a slight twist of the brush.. Top product.

Anyway, I'me here all week for your questions.. #AskBeef

#AskBeef to the numpty that asked "How long is a 14" rubber?" The answer is.....$2.99

WagTail Pivot Control

Guys n Gals (probably mostly guys reading this!) just been asked the question #AskBeef "Whats the difference between the Wagtail Pivot Control (PC) Squeegee and a standard Wagtail squeegee, both seem very similar?Good question.... Main difference is :The new wagtail PC places the control disc above the squeegee, allowing for the force vectors of the squeegee to be placed at their most optimal position. It has adjustable pivot ranges to clean at your desired angle. The nylon collet reducing the pivot bearing resistance and the controlled pivot can prevent any wayward pivoting at extreme heights. These are just a few of the benefits you will experience with the PC.Thanks for the question! See you tommorow!

Worth it?
@DBCSPenarth #AskBeef if you have zero parts per million, how many parts per billion would u have? Simples! You do the math! #zero=zero

Questions, Daft or SERIOUS?

Morning All! Beef here, after yesterdays daft questions #AskBeef Like How do i keep up such a magnificent physique? Has window cleaning helped me keep in such good shape? Who eats most from the Window Cleaning Warehouse snackbox? and the daftest of all Wheres the Beef!! The answer to which is obvious:

http://bit.ly/1dv4Myy

Now to the serious WC Question of the Day!

Whats the best Hard or Soft Squeegee rubber?

Well, apart from personal preference, there are a couple of factors to consider. Soft rubber is more flexible and therefore works better at colder temperatures when harder rubber can become very stiff and almost "bounce" on the glass.
Soft rubber will also adapt better to sight uneveness on glass surfaces.
That said, the reverse is also true, Hard rubber works best in warmer temperatures when soft rubber can become too flexible, and when you do not have the most delicate of touches, ie hands the size of a shovel, like me.

So be like rubber, flexible! Use the right rubber for the job, and maybe vary from summer to winter.

A couple of tips, Ettore Master Rubber is probably one of the softest compounds.
Here at WCW FaceLIft RazrBLADE RED Rubber sells extremely well and is a medium compound.

Rubber compounds are measured in shore hardness, for instance Unger SOFT rubber has a shore hardness of 53 +/- 2 Unger HARD rubber has a shore hardness of 60 +/- 2

Hi Everyone my name is Beef! (short for Beefcake) or for our French cousins: Gateaux de Boeuf. This is my blog, "Ask Beef" you can ask me anything, and I mean anything, but i normally only answer questions related to window cleaning.
